Protect the piping and cables of your heatpump

Here in New Zealand the sun is very agressive, the UV "eats" many materials.
The pipes and cables to the outside unit of your heatpump often are protected very poor against UV. 
 
The covers of the pipes and cables of most of the heatpumps are not stable when they are exposed to the high UV intensity.
That makes them brittle and it might fall apart, if they are exposed to the full sun - already after a few years.
Please see the examples in the pictures.

You can check your pipes: Swipe the surface, if particles of the white material come off, then the decay already has begun. 

We developed an all weather tape with a special UV resistant compound. It as well blocks the UV light. This will protect the cables and pipes of your heatpump.
The kit consists of 10 meters of tape and six stainless steel cable ties
